1. To order your cake please phone or e'mail using the
comment form on Introduction page.
2. We use only the finest ingredients for our cakes.
3. For wedding cake orders we require a 50% non returnable
deposit to secure your order, the remaining 50% balance is due two weeks before the wedding.You will receive an invoice for
the full balance owed. For all other cake orders full payment is required at the time of placing the order.
4. For wedding cake orders you will receive a confirmation
of order by post or e'mail. Please check the details of your order are correct and advise us immediately of any discrepancies.
For all other orders confirmation will be by e'mail
5. Alterations to orders must be made in person, by phone,
e'mail or in writing to Truly Scrumptious Celebration Cakes at least two weeks before the delivery date.
6. We reserve the right to make minor alterations
to designs but will endevour to discuss these with your approval.
7. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Should a
cancellation be received less than four weeks before the delivery date or collection date then the balance owing must be paid
in full.
8. The deposit of 50% paid when ordering wedding cakes
is not refundable, nor can it be transferred to another cake order.
9. In the event of the postponement of the wedding Truly
Scrumptious Celebration Cakes reserve the right not to transfer the 50% deposit to the new wedding date.
10. The dimensions for the cakes are not exact as each
cake is handcrafted by Jane.
11. We are unable to provide or guarantee that cakes
are nut free.
12. We are able to deliver wedding cakes and these are
delivered to your venue. Please check your cake on delivery and should there be any damage to your cake please advise us immediately
so that we can have an opportunity to rectify this.
13. We are able to hire stands for your wedding cake to
be displayed on. A hire charge is made and we can advise you of this on application.Stands are delivered with the cake
and need to be returned by the following Friday. We require a seperate cheque for the deposit for stand hire and you will
be advised of this when booking the stand. Providing the stand is returned within the time scale and undamaged your deposit
will be refunded.
14. We value your custom and want you to be completely
satisfied with your cake. If for any reason you are not satisfied we would ask that you contact us within 3 days of receiving
the cake and retain as much of the cake as possible so that we can fairly assess the problem. The maximum refund that
we will offer is limited to the value of the cake and any delivery charge.
